What is Carbon Intensity?

The carbon intensity of electricity is the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) produced to generate electricity. Copper displays carbon intensity in lbs/MWh (pounds per megawatt hour) by showing a line on the detail graph that indicates the carbon intensity at that time of day.
