Copper uses a device called a gateway to listen to your utility meters.
The gateway should be installed in an unswitched electrical outlet as close as possible to your meters. Once connected, it will monitor your utility usage which you can track using the Copper mobile app.
The LED on the front of your Copper unit indicates its status.
- Red: Your WiFi is disconnected.
- Dark Blue: Your Bluetooth is connected.
- Light Blue/White: Copper is connected and operating normally.
